That’s right Leedy, I don’t post very often because some members on this site crap on and become personnel. What’s the point with this site? If posts are not respected and replied with some sort of reasonable argument and respect then this site is waste of hard drive space. Cardie pissed off because he was pissed off with the keyboard wankers and yet he put so many hours in posting team selections, injury lists, links to interviews and so on, he contributed to the site and tried to make it lively. Grassy was told to piss off, but at least he had an opinion and he wasn’t personal. His views may have been extreme, but that’s Grassy. So, now that I have got that off my chest I would like to say that the West Perth Football Club is clawing back, yes it has had help, but I will say that if South’s or Swans or any other WAFL club needs and receives help, i support that, the WAFL has to survive.

Every WAFL club is insolvent. This is fact.

Subiaco have been on the gravy train but that looks to be drying up given the expenditure on coaches this year.

Without hand outs from wafc they are all no better, no worse than West Perth.

Unholy: you are, of course in the strict sense of the word; but, let us add, that, the Eagles were creatted to prop up the WAFL, in the same way as the ACB subsidises the Sheffiled Shield; I agree with you 100 per cent regarding WP, because, as you are probably aware, I support Subi, which once took a deal of ten cents in the dollar.

I am not an accountant Utb, but an operating loss for 1 year certainly doesn't indicate insolvency. From memory, the SFC has several million dollars in reserve, which would take a while to run down.

Just to illustrate the point further the Eagles could easily have 7 flags and the Dockers one. In addition to that, even the Dockers have made other prelimenary finals. People should think about those records of the Eagles and Dockers before they start rattlling on about Victorian superiority.

How many flags would the Eagles have if Franklin was in their team all these years?

The Eagles licence was issued because the VFL was broke and the money paid baled out the VFL which became the AFL two years later.
