Rattling tins is not enough STT. The club is banging on doors to get any sponsor, large or small, and that is the problem, we can’t get major sponsors. It takes a lot of money to run a wafl club and sponsors are a big part of the money pool. The club has heaps of minor and moderate sponsors, small businesses that sponsor players but we need major sponsors, so its people like you STT that don’t fully understand what the situation is with the WPFC, lay off your keyboard mate because you really don’t know the intricate details of how a wafl club is run.

Change your name to the Joondalup Falcons and those doors might just start opening for you.

Surely Korda Mentha should jump on board as a major sponsor.

Yes and at the same time let them build a proper base with all the Aussie rules clubs in the the City of Joondalup. It Pisses me off when I meet up with parents and sponsors from Sorrento, Duncraig Warwick, Greenwood and Kingsley in the members bar at Subi who are there because their sons were forced by the rules to play for Subi when their junior club is in the city of Joondalup.

For mine, the demise of an original club that is around 130 years old, while the Dole City Dorkers who have given NOTHING to the WAFL are propped, up is disgraceful. It may well be totally unpalatable to most here, but they have to be saved. Surely the WAFC could appoint a new board to oversee the running of their club. We all talk about how the traditions of the WAFL should be upheld, yet people want this old and original club just die. Go figure!!

Not true STT. Its people like you that have no understanding how a wafl is administered . So how about not criticizing the club, show some some initiative and help.
