Spot on mate! It is getting a regular occurance now unfortunately losing more of our child hood icons (for those of us born early 70’s)

One can only hope The West Coastralian newspaper pays some sort of tribute to Easty - after all he sold a few papers for them with his sports writing in the day

Well said by others. Sad to lose another stalwart from the golden era of WA footy. He made a great contribution to reporting and recording WA footy.

Now that the competition has been reduced to a fraud where a peon like Cam Shepherd is remembered as a back to back premiership coach in the same breath as Ken Armstrong and John Todd its probably not a bad time to be toddling off.
