Considering that Shane Yarran couldnt get a kick playing for Kelmscott in B Grade Amos i don't like his chances of returning to the WAFL. If they start up a Gosnells WAFL side he might get a game and just play the home games.

pretty sure Subi have a bit more quality around Yarran to feed him some decent footy than the Kelmscott footy team ever could.....can't imagine Yaz being the sort of guy who goes searching for his own footy much.....very good finisher though, which makes him so dangerous....Subi won't be complaining if he comes back.

He was pretty lucky whatever was in the car was gotten rid of but then hiding in bushes to evade police capture was bizarre behaviour for a supposed elite sportsman provided with a good opportunity in life - well a better one than most others anyway
Had a good chance or chances and blew them excuse the pun none intended

** And no relevance to Andy Krakouer or Murray Newman even remotely

Looks like Boekhorst signed with the Sharks and Ben Howlett to Peel according to this mornings West. EF have been the big movers as far as recruiting goes.

Palmer is the interesting one left out there now, read somewhere on a thread that West Perth had offered him $1,300 a game. Without finals and an 18 game season that ends up at $23,400, not really that great. Be interesting to see what he does and why as employment or loyalty may be in play along with match payments.

$23k is still a tad shy of 10% of the total player pool not including marquee and veterans allowances...not bad for one player when you look at it in those terms.

With Boekhurst on board don't think EF will be fussed whether Palmer signs or not...rather develop some of the youngsters who have a few more years of footy under their belt....and hopefully a greater inner drive for success....

Whatever happened to Greg Broughton signing with Joondy and Josh Hill with Subi? Both were touted as certainties a couple of weeks ago and the current silence is deafening. Does anyone have an update?
