personally I would only look at Saturday games as a guide for wafl crowd averages.
every club then has similar variables in terms of weather and afl games that affect attendance.

Really crap weather on Saturday plus it was up against a host of AFL live on TV so in shit weather most bunkered down with an frothy and the TV

Regardless piss weak turnout at Sd first ever home game for them for the year atmosphere was non existent doesn't help when the contest is an embarrassment

A lot to be said for 2 games on Monday.

yes, bad weather, a holiday long weekend, AFL starting and only 300 less people than a game at the home of football in Freo the weekend before.

hopefully the Doggies can keep their form and massive crowds up as the season goes on

Stupidest thing i have heard only counting Saturday's we never have done and no other league counts just one day do they ? Besides unless all clubs play an equal amount of Saturday's which they don't you can't do it ie South Play Friday's Saurdays Sundays and Monday.

your live telecast people who didnt attend were countered by the wet weather at Swans and the AFL season starting.
so you are still 300 in front, keep up the good work down there at Freo, you may have to think about setting up some new turnstyles to cope with the crowds.
