That story been quiet for a few weeks now.They considered moving to Thailand long before Trumps time.Opening a new plant in a Scandinavian country for European sales?

It wasn't before Trumps time, it's very recent.

Yeah its a real shame they are going, there are few different stories floating around, that they were going anyway or that it speeded the move up. You would of thought they would of stayed under current policy.

Its a bit like Land Drover leaving England for Slovakia , all future Discoveries will be made there, its a real pity as al lot of its cred is about the locations its built, some say they were going anyway some say its Brexit..

Harleys biggest issue is declining sales, the domestic market is dropping about 6% PA so they are more and more reliant on exports, EU is a big market and a tariff on sales there would kill it, so its cheaper build and sell in the EU to move production to a non tariff location.

But the (new Ashland aluminium rolling) plant was put in motion well before Trump took the oath of office, for reasons having nothing to do with his presidency. The president’s policies appear to have made the plant more economically viable, but it appears it would have been launched without those policies.

Now, now your going to ruin a great narrative if you keep coming up with facts such as this.

Simple to me. Trump is a multi millionaire because he’s a successful businessman. To be this, you have to break a few eggshells along the way. He is running his country like a business and doing quite nicely for it. The McC incident was a bit off, but other than that, he’s prepared to make a few critics while making good decisions. It’s a pity we didn’t have a Trump in Australia. I reckon Sean would emigrate, but at least we’d be rid of his constant negative ramblings!!!
