I dunno about Pickering wearing the Swans hoodie, not a very professional look in my opinion. The coach should be wearing the club jacket with sponsors logos. Just a little thing.

Just like I hear that maroon jackets make a great match up with Zimmer frames.

Agree entirely.

mikeh wrote: So if it comes back to lack of fitness and the inability to run all day, that is an indictment on the pre season program and the coaching staff. Claremont have a lot of young blokes who are fit enough to run out 4 quarters because they have obviously done the work prior to the season. Questions need to be asked about Swans training program.

Freezin wrote: That is almost half a team BH, not that bad a retention percentage mate....I look at that 2017 EF colts flag team BH....can think of only 10 kids still at the club......and that's only 2 years ago.....sums up WAFL footy in a nutshell.....all a bit too much effort for little reward it seems...though EF have been a basket case, so perhaps kids have moved on due to the club environment/dynamics.....though of those gone, none have gone to other WAFL clubs....

You don't know what you're talking about, Freezin. There's 14 of the 17 Colts Premiership team still at WAFL level or higher. Thats quite a high number. Just because you play Colts doesn't mean you're a League footballer.

Yeah just realized what I had written with that last sentence about not at another WAFL Club KC...my mistake...OReilly and Eastaugh are at Peel and SF respectively, Joyce at Brisbane and also I got Kennedy and Tyler Sorrell mixed up......considering BH mentioned 10 guys from SD 2014 season, 5 years ago, just think in under 2 years EF had lost a similar number was alarming snd indicative of WAFL retention rates...but as you rightly say 14 still playing WAFL or height level since 2017 isn't as bad as I first thought....be interesting to see in 5 years time I guess then....but we'll spotted KC.

Spot on Mikeh, the club is soon to release a tasteful range of gold plated Zimmers with nice maroon leather handles, should be a winner for the clubs coffers.
