Understand there's a bit of taking the mickey going on, but why does Corey Gault keep getting raised? He's been on the track at Swan Districts pre-season and training well.

Just a bit of stirring LD. The bogans with Sean in particular whining and moaning that Subi is continually "poaching the cream from other WAFL clubs"...his words, not mine...so I keep the bullshit going by saying we're having a crack at Gault next.

Don't discount it completely, BC.

He would be a pretty handy "in" for a list that I still say is looking particularly thin for 2019.

going on past experience Subi will still be approaching players from other clubs in January.
Brett Robinson and Ryan Davis are both examples of that.
Subi offered to double Davo's wages in his last year at Swans

At the moment it appears we'll only be missing Zac Clarke and Brad Stevenson from this year. Clarke will be a big out but Stevo lost form and was dropped to the ressies for the GF and at 30 no great loss. It could all change over the next month or so but based on current info think we'll be ok Jack.

LOL Jack. Surely that must be a tongue in cheek comment. I can think of 9 other WAFL clubs who would swap their list for Subiaco's

Sorta, mike..........

I was looking at BC's interchange list on the previous page, and thinking they would all probably be walk-ups for the other 8 teams.

However, the Schadenfreude is still there when I still think back on the long suffering 60s and late 70s. :S

The upside is jack that the team list doesn't even include some of the premiership colts who'll be pressing up as well. Guys like the Hickmott brothers, Mayo, Plane, Hobley et al will all get chances during the season you'd think plus a few of the ressies will be in the frame as well.

Just hope there will not be too much pressure on these young blokes to step up too quick, a few experienced recruits may help them come through.
Also it wouldn't stretch the depth too much, allowing the reserves to remain competitive.
