Things have been very quiet here and the club website regarding who are the "outs" and "ins" for 2019. Any "rumours" would be good.

It is looking like Zac Clarke will be an out. Likely off to Essendon

Cheers, I read that one and all the best to Zac, hopefully having another crack at the AFL. I thought there would have been quite a few outs after winning the GF, maybe I'm wrong. When does pre season training start, if it hasn't started already?

I reckon biggest problem Sube has is that your coach reckons he is the biggest in of all time. Watch him try and do it without big recruits....

Good luck.

StT...last time I looked we won all 3 flags this year with the league falling over the line by 80 odd points. I don't think we need "big recruits" and the current guys will keep us there abouts. We may need a ruckman though...any ideas?

Fair point, just saying I don't reckon schoey would be sitting on his hands. This guy will.

He is an intereting selection as a coach

I'm still struggling to figure it out AR. I reckon there would have been quite a few exAFL assistants licking their lips at the prospect of coaching the best state league team in the country (Xavier Ellis' words not mine) but the club went for a virtual rookie with no senior playing or coaching experience. Obviously the powers that be know more than the rest of us.

BC Schofield has already made a big impression on Port Adelaide. There very happy to have him there.

That doesn't surprise me gtr. There's quite a few on here that underestimate the influence he had on the club and in particular, the playing group. It's all very well to have a good group of players but it's up to the senior coach to put structures and plans in place to make sure they reach their collective potential. For Schoey to oversee premierships across all 3 grades in one year was an outstanding achievement.
