Well done Damian, at least there is some immediate protection.
For the future of the Club making it require a Special Resolution would be the ideal solution.

Good outcome from last night.
But as someone has alluded we must remain vigilant for any dangers to our independence as an original club of the WANFL/WAFL. I believe that the WAFC are still not to be trusted as the response to Wim Rosbender's question clearly indicates.

FD: beautifully done Damien; other clubs should follow suit, as both the Commission and the AFL clubs have had, to put it mildly, a mecurial attitude when it comes to the question of the 'alignment'

I would strongly recommend that if possible you try to strengthen it by requiring a 75% votes of all eligible to vote not just those in attendance and that the 75% clause can only be changed by achieving a 75% vote to amend the clause.
