You just cant dismiss all the other comments from ex players.

So he had a conviction..big deal.Swans didnt see it as a problem.
McMahon and others clealy lack people skills and had he stayed there would have been imo a masss exodus of players as well as supporters.

The guy was just a bad choice of coach but then i dont expect some to accept that,that would be like admitting oh shit we made a mistake!

Where are these FB comments by former players boys? Can't see any on the Perth FC facebook page but maybe it is being edited? The most notable absentee in the comments on the sacking announcement is that flogger Gavin Caudle. He was a major McMahon supporter and sponsor of the club. FFS who needs sponsors like him?

The clean out has only just begun. The club needs to rid itself of all toxic links attached to Damian McMahon. I haven't heard a lot of good things about that football manager. Apparently he got up Ali Smiths nose.

For the record I think decision to replace McMahon is correct and I fully support.
However I hardly think Spander and Elari (for reasons mentioned) plus Cam Kickett ('Damo said I wasn't good enough to play league footy' - ummm you haven't mate) and Ali Smith (whose own family members describe him as being so far up himself it's not funny) venting on social media is a stinging critique from former players.
We all want a culture change, then bitch like school girls when anyone gets moved along in an effort to improve.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't. No wonder we aren't going anywhere.
Let's face it - McMahon isn't exactly the first coach to not have success.

DD, the comments are on Elari's personal FB page. Have a look. You could field a decent team out of the ex-players who have commented.

Spot on that the clean out needs to go further.

And if Max is a chip off the old block, fully agree with decision to move him on also.

Anyway lets try to get back on topic or i can see this thread being rail roaded and resembling nothing to do with the topic.

I listened to 6PR this morning and Millsy and Baz interviewed Mark Harvey. It was put to him that the Perth FC were going to approach him and he said "Well that hasn't happened, we shall just wait and see what happens at he end of the year". Sounds to me like he would be interested in sitting down and having a chat if he is approached.

I don't care what anyone says, right from the get go when he butchered two gold standard colts squads the guy was a disaster. My thoughts exactly Dazzler, that bloke butchered a lot of quality good kids in his time in control of the colts. He also stabbed other coaches in the back while he was at it. Wish all the best in the future , Fuk no way Sleaze bag.

The amount of former players and staff liking Blue's comment is telling. If I was mates with him I'd be liking it too.

On McMahons LinkedIn profile, he lists "culture change" as one of his skills.
