Not sure if you saw the game last week Leedy - you were most likley watching your own boys
As I mentioned - Hard for Manning to gain possessions when your playing Forward Pocket/Full Forward and your not getting the ball - the days score would attest to that

Interestingly he did as was intended and assisted in 2 of the goals we sparingly kicked

It was a different story in the 4th Qtr when he was on the ball at Wing and Forward centre - more than one Claremont player discovered he was in the team as he did what I believe he always did so well at West and he enforced the teams game plan and physical pressure hes known for.

As for the Big Dog adjustment - time will tell but I think you are incorrect
and for talent around him - only the weeks ahead will prove your point correct or in error??
Go US against the Lions ,,,,..!!!..

Griffin, O'Reilly, Monaghan & Snadden.

We know big Griff has a saw jaw and Snadden must too be injured - anyone know what the deal is with O'Reilly. Injury or omitted?

Well done Matthew Jupp.

perham is in instead of watson
monaghan did not play league last week....pearton is out

oreilly out with ankle

Well it's relief that Subiaco haven't kicked straight in the first quarter - 10 scoring shots to 0 is looking pretty ominous at this stage.

Looks like less a hiding than expected.....doubled our goal effort from last week....obviously a loss, but could of been far far worse.....interesting to see WP kicked one more goal v Cl than we did last week....reserves get pipped again at the post......pity Jupp didn't get the spoils in his 100th game, great servant for the club.....need to keep moving forward.....good to get the best two sides out the way.....next 7 games will give EF fans an indicator of the teams fortunes for 2019.

45 points certainly was closer than expected against one team that will probably play in the gf. A few highlights that will keep me interested in the games ahead. As freeze said, the next few weeks will give us an inkling as to whether our future looks better.

Next Friday v Peel is a key game in EF development this year....two hardest games out the way...obviously going off that WP loss to Cl, EF performance whilst still poor, didn't look as bad, considering WP played in the GF last year. Boekhorst looks ready to come back, so that will be a plus, especially from an outside player perspective....with Peels big men, surely with Griff out, Watson comes in to help out Strnadica in the ruck. Not sure how far away O'Reilly or Snadden are, but both need to be playing I guess.....did Bailey show anything?...if so, that may release O'Reilly to the forward line.

I hear Kommer will be back next week playing managed minutes in the reserves....all hands will be needed on deck for EF to make the most of their next games before they meet Cl and Subi again....a few wins are a must not only for the team but the fans sanity too...LOL

Bailey should hold his spot in the side for next week - helped out in the ruck by taking a few centre bounces and overall had a sound game. Yesterday was an improvement overall and there are encouraging signs against the premiers and a woefully lopsided free kick count.

Hopefully Snadden, Eardley, Boekhurst and Kommer can get back soon. Certainly Boekhurst should return next week. Murdoch and Anthony would both be pushing for a spot. Zac Jackson also look assured in the reserves narrow loss. Manning and in particular Davies improved on the week before.and Montauban impressed on debut too.
