Claremont well deserved winners..Not impressed in playing a final at a boutique oval.Would have rather played at a neutral oval where you could see the game properly.

C22 was that Claremont Oval the ground that Bazza has waxed lyrically over?

How ridiculous that WCE instructed EP that Nelson, Ah Chee and Oscar Allen I think it was had to play restricted minutes...so weren't allowed to play out the entire game? It was an elimination final ffs. 3 rotations down for a chunk of the game must have been tough for Luke Webster.

I heard a similar thing mentioned after the game, BC, again showing what a farce the alignment is.
The only positive aspect of the loss from an East Perth point of view is that it should signal the end of the alignment.
My anti-alignment sentiments are certainly nothing against those Eagles players assigned to East Perth - they're only doing what they're told to do.
And full credit to Claremont on their great victory.
The Tigers showed a desperation and commitment that the Royals sadly lacked for most of the contest.
Tom Lee's strong marking and five goals and Kane Mitchell's 13 tackles were the difference.
The one highlight from an EP perspective was Ajang Ajang's fine game, including his superb goal in the third quarter.

Yep...it must be a weight off the shoulders of traditional EP supporters ADGM. It'll be good to get the real EP back...you might struggle for a season or two until you get a decent list together but it'll be worth it. I also thought Claremont were very good and think they'll get over the garlics next weekend.

It probably will be a struggle for a while? But that's what happens when an entity has to rebuild and reform.
Going to be interesting to see if any players they've lost over the past few seasons make a return or stay at their current Wafl clubs?
