I would definitely chip in $20 to keep this site going as well.

Have there been any offers BC?

But yep I reckon you are right, the chances of a buyer are slim , money wise lets face it, if this was a goer the current owners would probably be keeping it going or it would of been snapped up by a media bizzo.

Media are struggling all over place to make a quid, advert money is hard to come by, heck just look at the carcus that is Fairfax, broke as, News Corp is only propped up by its Pay TV, printed and online news make bugger all.

a small sub fee pay wall - would be the only thing keeping this going as you say.

So Bazza & BC has anyone put that idea to George & Co, if all posters agreed to a reasonable annual rego fee would they be enough to keep them involved? I'd certainly be more than happy to kick in once a year to keep the forum going.

I would be very happy to pay $20 annual sub.

George what do you reckon?

I think that may be closer to the mark a/man. Several ex-posters have been banned from the site, not sure if that is a contributing factor? Sometimes people tend to get carried away with comments made within the forums. Sad to say, but get the feeling the moderators are putting up with a lot of crap going on behind the scenes that people are not aware of. Will be very sad to witness this site fall off the perch because there is nothing out there for Wafl news.

Perhaps a reliable member or members can slide into the drivers seat? The added advantage of a site such as this, there's no useless stupid advertisements jumping out at us!

The heading is Wafl crowds. What can one say! Let's hope the Wafl attendance figures improve this season, but the figures for week 1 are poor. Just a tick over 7 thousand apparently, watched the four matches for the seasons opening round. A bad start for attendances.

Subiaco V EP 3408
Peel V EF 1473
SF V SD 1559
WP V P ?

Piss poor crowd form the Basso game considering Swans are apparently the most followed team in the WAFL. Lots of undercover at Basso so the weather is no excuse.

After 2 rounds teams that have played 2.

for those interested in crowds for Saturday games only:
Round 1
WP/SF 1888
EP/Cl 2148
EF/SD 1837
PT/Subi 1234

Round 2
PT vs EF 1473
SD vs SF 1559
WP v Perth N/A

Be interesting to see the averages for Saturday games only at the end of the year, usually the best way to look at results is to measure apples against apples.

So basically you're saying that Swans big foundation day home game against Perth doesn't count because it's on a Monday.
