One of the ONLY highlights so far in this series is having Kerry 'Skull' O'Keefe back behind the mic in the commentary box.....a breath of fresh air he is with his unique take on the cricket with some humorous offerings!

Same shit different day, not sure what the answer is here but no indication that the pitch is playing a part in any of the dismissals so you would have to think that even if they manage to get 250 it will be well below par. Scores of 41, 44 and 22 are not going to win games of cricket.

Geoff Marsh was a better player at one-day cricket then this entire side.

..like his eldest son Ark a far better ODI player than test player.....how Geoff played 50 test matches still astounds me to this day

as you said, in ODI he was very good.

An excellent bowling and fielding effort to defend a modest total. A much needed win for the home team. FInch showed a very clever tactical side that wasnt obvious to me prior to tonight by his use of the best bowlers to try and break the partnership between Du Plessis and Miller and holding back on Zampa to bowl at the lower order at the end. It was a calculated risk but it worked.
If Stonis can get his batting act together, he may develop into a very useful all rounder come world cup time. Still a long way to go in terms of the standard of batting but its something to build on.

Bowlers come to the rescue.....great effort to sneak a win there....time for the batsmen in game 3 to build on these starts and post a 300 plus total.....perhaps Short in for Head in game 3, allowing Head some valuable 4 day time for SA in the shield before the India tests, as Head isn't in the T20 squad for the India games.....

If they can't score 300 at Hobart, they won't score it anywhere. Would like to see Agar get a crack, perhaps at the expense of Maxwell.
