According to the bloke on 6pr today, he reckon all the Tests will stay FTA, BBL will be mixed 25% on Foxtel rest on C 7.

Anything on C7 will be simulcast on Fox add free.

Foxtel get everything else, ODIs, 20/20 etc...

I don't watch cricket for any number of reasons but one of them is that Chapple et al are self serving muppets, perhaps 7 etc will get some commentators who don't care what soap powder the third man should use, as long as it aint baaassiiillll'
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

With all the spare cash Ch 9 will have what else will they go after? We could only dream they would cover the WAFL. Maybe they will go after the NBL, A league etc....

The a-league wouldnt be worth a pinch of salt DD no one watches it.
Hopefully 7 gets some real cricket people in to commentate and the likes of Basil, Hamish, BT & that flog Jim Wilson are nowhere near the cricket coverage!

Nah, Foxtel and the A League have just concluded a new 6 year deal. 346 Million shared with Ch 10 who will broadcast finals as from 2018.

WAFL and 7 have just locked up OPTUS and KIA, they wont be going anywhere.

I think it will just be Tennis for them, seem to have drifted out sport. As for 10 as per above they have A league finals but the US owner might have other plans, maybe Basketball.

Without being too fulsome in my praise of Basil Zempilas unlike most if not all the others who commentate on the Victorian Parasite League he does recognise WA players' WAFL clubs during his commentary.

Probably the only WAFL club's jumper Eddie Maguire would recognise would be the Swans' jumper that still gives him nightmares from the 1982 Escort Cup when we beat Collingwood.

Brendan Julian and Allan Border are big on foxtel for overseas games, I figure they will play a role, Warne also is involved for games the telecast from Africa/Asia.
My guess is they will offer spots to Gilchrist, Warner, Ponting and possibly Mark Waugh
