Personally speaking, hugging is no big deal. Being a public servant, we receive hugs occasionally at the work place. It just happens and no-one thinks any negativity of doing so. Hopefully it continues. If a lady wants to share a harmless hug, who am I to argue. Receiving a hug makes one feel better too.My 5c worth.

Hey Mike i think Anchorman must be on that cheap wine Aldis are selling.

What the Eagles want is everyone on there feet prior to bouncedown and when the players go into a huddle for that one last address following the coin toss they want you to join the huddle with arms around the shoulders of the person next to you.

Bit different from holding hands as the players run out.
I think Anchor must have bad memories when he played ring a ring a rosie.
Im sure Anchor reads the first 2 words of a sentence and the last 3 and theres his story to tell.

They want the standing just prior to the ball up to be a bit like what happens at the start of a Basketball game.

Something new and different "the huddle" bit probably wont take off by everyone but the standing will, belt out a good tune and get the place rock'n before a bouncedown.Nothing wrong with that..

But if that brings passion to those with the knitting needles then go for it I say.
And a back page from the Someday Eagles. to explain it all.

If this is such a big issue in your lives, then you really must live boring lives. Let it go and let it die a natural death.

Not a big issue, BUT a topic like any other 58. It will be plugged to death by the moronic media, they ( the media ) wont let it die mate. Im sure if they sold dog turds on a stic and sold em as kebabs ( marketed by nic nat) the public would be dumb enough to buy em
