We can dis count SA because they have never been able to play properly at world cups
The England side is a good one indeed, and they would there or there abouts
The WI is the interestting team as it is probably the best, but i never performmed at world cups -- failling to win one world cup, albeit dominatting test cricket for twenty years
Australia for me -- it has good seam bolling with variety plus Warne.

Donhi is the best ODI player I have seen; honourable mentions also go to the following players, the great Kapil Dev, Wasim Akram, Javed and Sangakara from Ceylon.

Good post AR. Just a small correction, West Indies did win the first two world cups in 1975 and 1979. But they didnt win another one during their years of domination in the 1980's and 1990's. 1983 they were in the final but were beaten by India in what was regarded as a massive upset.

mikeh -- thanks -- yep, 1983 was a good tournament. Zimbabwe beat Australia; Kapil Dev made 175 after India were 15/5 at one stage. Was it Roger Binney whom bowlled out the Windies in the final?
