Just saw Voges run out by 5 metres and the umpire went upstairs.

He was outstanding Shark58, as was the other Ashton. Agar will go to South Africa as the 2nd spinner but its unlikely he will get a test unless the saffies produce a bunsen burner. He should be in the 20/20 team as well.
Apart from Agar and Kelly, the Scorchers bowling was very ordinary tonight but they always seem to find a way to win. Sign of a champion team

The bbl umpires are just glorified hat racks DF.
How many wides they seemingly miss when the Scorchers are batting is baffling and yet I saw them call one against us vs Adelaide at Alice Springs where it was well inside the blue line!!

Begs the question what about Lyon and Agar in ODI squad.
And Agar can bat.

Shaun Marsh is apparently coming in to the team for the game on Thursday. Will be interesting to see who drops out. I guess it would have to be Whiteman.

If you didnt see the BBL game in Melbourne tonight have a look at the highlights which will no doubt be headlined by the dismissal of Bravo who hit what he probably would have thought was a six, only for the ball to be intercepted by Ben Laughlin just inside the rope. Realising he was going to fall over the boundary with the ball Laughlin backhanded it 30 metres into the field of play and the catch was completed by a diving Jake Weatherald. It was an outstanding display of athleticism and timing. Well worth a look.

Went to that game last night Mikeh....having a feast of BBL and AO tennis with my son's for the week....sitting in the 2nd tier just to the left of Weatherald, great catch, more so by Weatherald in the end.....the game has certainly changed that is for sure. Gee White was useless....next match for him is for Aust....LOL.....Alex Carey is going places that is for sure....the sooner he is in the test and ODI set up the better....he is 26, great keeper, hits clean and hard...Paine has been great but at 33 not sure he is the future TBH.....
