What about Zeeesers? Did he ever play a test match. He was all the rage for a while

He was in the squad for the 1987 Cricket World Cup but never played a Test.

Another bloke who looked so bloody good as a youngster was Mike Haysman from SA - ironically he ended up in another SA via the rebel Arpatheid tour never came back & commentates for FOX over there nowadays

BH: I re-call Ian Davis was suppose to be the next Bradman. Have Maxwell and Henriques been unlucky, neither playing a test here at home?

In WACA cricket there was a guy named Murray Stevens (Ithink from Fremantle CC) who was lightning fast very bloody slippery indeed big burly type of guy - could not get a gig here either

Southerner: Haysman had talent; you have reminded me of a couple of other batsman from the era: Steve Smith and Mick Taylor -- Taylor was a Victorian whom made a lot of runs.

I have never really rated Henriques AR you can add him to the lucky list but the McGain & Maddinson selections top the list for mine.

That's right Steve Smith might have played in the last year of WSC from memory - then was a very good one day player for Oz , how Jeff Moss got ahead of Taylor always amazed me mate
