Was bombarding this site on a daily basis when the opposition was killing it in the polls after the dumping of Malcom Turnbull. Come out come out wherever you are 42 and face the music. Where did it all go wrong?

Was it Russian or Chinese collusion? Shortarse was just misunderstood? Reminds me of Billy Birminghams rip off of Darryl Eastlake on Wide World of Sports interviewing Rick Disnick after he ploughed into the vault at top speed. "What happened Rick, did you blow a sandshoe on the runway or did you just fuck up? No Darryl, I just fucked up!! Hahahahaha

DD to be fair to Swan 42 he has not logged on to this site since the 14th January which indicates to me that he is no longer a member of Oz footy and had ceased posting 4 months prior to the election. There was a whole thread dedicated to trying to lure him back which didn't succeed. As Monty Python famously said. "This is a dead parrot" so its pointless to keep flogging it.

He is still a member Mike and I'm sure is lurking in the background dying to say something. What gets me is he was so strong in his convictions back then labor was going to win. Just because OFA gave him a stern warning on here doesn't mean he is banned. I'm sure he is welcome to come back and post on the election result like the rest of us and give his opinion. I can't see OFA coming down on him for that.

God we just got through being totally misled by dumb press and we are buying their spin again already. Shorten a two time loser but a hard worker for his party, surely he is entitled to have input. ‘Wheeling and dealing’ brought to us by same papers who told her us morrison wouldn’t get a few more votes than Turnbull.

Rumours around that Bowen has withdrawn from the leadership race. However as GTR pointed out there is talk around that Shorten is trying to block Albenese by lobbying caucus to support Tony Burke. Hopefully this will fail and Albo will be elected unopposed. I often wonder how things would have turned out if the caucus had listened to the grassroots of the party and backed their choice of AA in 2013 instead of electing Shorten. I thing it would be better for the Labor Party if Shorten quietly exited parliament sometime during the next 3 years so that he doesn't become an irritant on the back bench like Abbott was to the Liberals. This would give the new leader clear air.

Mike if we couldn't get 42 back the week before a shoe in Labor victory. Don't think we will see him again.Think he's also lost to Swans +Wafl footy. He doesn't like the way the Wafc runs footy in this state.

I always thought Sean was a bit of a downhill skier...about as welcome as a fart in a lift when Labor doing well but nowhere to be seen when they crash and burn....go figure.

Well you blokes do seem to be obsessive of him, as pointed out by Mike he hasn't logged in since 14 January commented in months.

It is not like he was commenting up until Friday and then stopped, he stopped months ago. Maybe he got over it... Maybe others can too

Pretty small world when we get excited over little old Sean returning to this forum. Maybe Sean went and got a life...

Just goes to show there is hope for us all.

GTR I spoke to Swan42 at Basso a couple of weeks back at the Subi game, I doubt very much he will be back posting on ozfooty any time soon if ever.
I also dont think he will be at Basso this week either as his dislike for the WCE is on a par with his dislike of the Liberal Party!

Mike while i quite like Albo and how he presents himself, but like Shortarse, he is a left wing socialist, something the electorate has just rejected so they need to find a centrist or right wing faction candidate. No idea where Burke sits but if not in there then its a waste of time.
