Geezus its taken long enough but finally from the Productivity Commissions damning report on the GST carve up and the way it is distributed had got Turnbull and ScoMo out from behind the curtain and in front of the cameras and microphones on the matter.

But here is the rider, "there is still a long long way to go and this is only a draft report". So don't expect a quick fix and a fair share of revenue to coming to WA anytime soon. Anyway at least finally there is a real acknowledgement that WA is being RIPPED OFF!!

Sad to say, it's only more hot stale air coming out of blundersville!
Whatever happened to the original idea of all the gst collected federally, would be equally returned to the states?
Obviously; that was bullshit talk! And everyone was suckered in at the time of introduction.
How many years and years has the distribution shifted to some states share differing from others? Why was that shift allowed to happen? The federal government have had years to realise the differences and equalise but have failed miserably to do so.
