Probably get nothing even if caught. Blame his religious beliefs / poor upbringing or mental heath issues.

Not for a moment excusing the behaviour of this person, which was sick but I think the owner of a dog also has a responsibility to control its behaviour in a public park. I have seen situations where dogs have charged up to kids in playgrounds and scared them without any intervention from the owner who thinks that the dog is harmless, but doesn't understand that they can nip people even if they are just playing. I have been bitten by a dog who was 'just excited' and it bloody hurt as I told the owner in no uncertain terms.

fair enough but Labradors are happy friendly trusting dogs by nature , no excuses in my book.

That's right Baz I've had a Labrador and Retriever. The most passive dog breed around.The dog was excited saying hello as the do in the park.

I still want to know why he needed to walk the streets at 6.30 at night with a knife....... Answer that question and we may answer a few others
