Were they successful and won something last year or did they just F#$K up their club by wanting success to quickly?

If true, Kingsley had been promoted to B Grade after making the C1 GF.

If found guilty that would mean C2 and almost a certain flag if they stay together. Association needs to make a stance and push them all the way to the lowest grade possible. Will also mean a certain flag but sends a strong message that it won't be tolerated and you have 6 or 7 years to get back to B grade. Will cost the club players, sponsorship $ and would make clubs doing the same very nervous

Add Noranda to the mix.

Kingsley went hard to buy a flag... and bragged ain’t paying Grover 30k.. and what a waste to pay a name when arrogance and aggression on game days were his best traits

Does that mean that Stirling stay in B grade and Melville stay in C1?

I would be incredibly surprised (and disappointed) if it was Kingsley. To say they went hard to buy a flag - which players exactly are you talkong about? Delby was the only big-name recruit and he is a former Kingsley player who wnnted to come back. A couple of other guys came from Calingiri, where they played in a pship with half the boys.
Don't forget Kinsgley made the last 2 prelims before this year so their season wasn't exactly a flash in the pan. As for Groves, he has been great for the club (and will again next year). Unfortunately the boys fell 1 step short of achieving what they were chasing all season, which was a pity because they really deserved a flag.
Tigerpoint - you obviously have a personal dislike of the club - why exactly is that?

Delby would be a major recruit for a c3 side. All he is good for is being a seagull & will get exposed in B grade.

Not sure where you got your mail from Tigerpoint, but it appears as though it was wrong.

The punishment is a joke. Fined $500 and demoted to C2. Last time a team was caught and demoted one grade they went on to win two flags in a row, massive penalty that one. Really strong stance by the WAAFL here. Will look great if they have success in 2018.

If a club is sitting just above the demotion position and wants a drop in grade, not a bad way to drop down just ring the waafl and dob yourselves in.

It will be interesting to see what this means for promotion and relegation. Given the likelihood (or lack thereof) of Kelmscott participating anywhere but E grades next year, it was likely to be 2 up 1 down system from B grade down. And with Noranda being relegated for their breaches, will this mean that last placed Melville will be required to stay in C1 in 2018?
