West Coast Amateur Football Club seeks applicants for the following coaching positions for 2018:
  • Director of Coaching
  • Head Colts Coach
  • Senior Assistant Coaches
Successful applicants will display the following attributes:
  • Minimum Level 1 Coaching Accreditation with a desire to work towards obtaining a Level 2 Coaching Accreditation (or higher)
  • The ability to bring together a young playing group and develop them to their full potential
  • Strong leadership, excellent communication skills with a range of stakeholders
  • Provide / manage a support network of assistant coaches
  • Commitment to developing the West Coast AFC club culture, including ongoing improvement of connections with junior football clubs and the local community
  • Ability to recruit and retain players in consultation with the Senior Coaches and Football Department.
In 2018, West Coast AFC expects to nominate three Senior teams (B League, Reserves and E1), one F Grade team, one or two Colts teams and also a female football side.

With an excellent young group of players, positive club culture, quality facilities and match-standard floodlights, the club has created a new role of Director of Coaching to support the development of its coaches, football department operations and club environment, for the benefit of players across all grades.

While all applicants will be considered for this role, we expect the Director of Coaching role is well suited to an experienced senior coach looking to explore new opportunities / take on a reduced workload, while still maintaining an active involvement in football, player development and mentoring young coaches.

Please send all applications or questions by email to Crispin Roberts (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). Applications close Friday 13 October, 2017.
