2 huge matches this week, one being this game and the other at Lathlain Park.
Claremont would be buoyed by last weeks result. West Perth also finished strongly in the last round and were unlucky. Going to be a ripper match this one and West Perth should have a narrow win on the road.
The weather is forecasted to be fine and sunny conditions for match day.

We tend to have close games v Claremont and we have been playing way better footy than them but unfortunately that counts for shit this w/end. Our losses have been minimal other than the EP debacle earlier in the season. Last week we came up against a Peel at their strongest and after a 5 day break and the boys fought it out as per usual this season.

Have noticed West Perth are quoted at odds of 4/5 for the Win
Claremont are showing at 1/1.

By my rusty maths, gives them a 55 to 60 % probability.

This is where footy or any sport for that matter can be cruel, CL no where near as good as WP but have there tail up. We have been battered about v EP and Peel, had a 5 day break and shit weather to contend with and will have played 3 games in 12 days.

Absolute thriller, I heard from both camps that the touched ball on the line was a goal and point but fortunately for us it was called a point. Cant believe the final qtr went for 32 min with only 2 goals scored.

Apparently Gilbert unloaded a long shot on goal and Claremont thought the ball had sailed through for the major. It seems Keunen touched the ball. The Field umpire needed to consult both Boundary umpires apparently. They concluded Gilberts kick had been touched on the line and a minor score. And West Perth can thank Claremonts inaccuracy of 47.1 Disposals/ Goal at 38%.
