Bit of a danger game this being for the home team.
Both coming off a loss from the previous weekend.
These 2 teams have played on 355 occasions.
With West Perth winning 167 times and South Fremantle 182 wins.
The Falcons with 188 losses and The Bulldogs losing 173.
Fairly certain with my foggy memory of South Fremantle defeating West Perth in all their matches last season?

They certainly did, we have become Souths whipping boys. Your the man for the stats but I am sure Souths have the best record at the Arena from any opposition club, they beat us there for fun. After our putrid display last week I fear another hiding at the hands of Souths this Sunday. We simply don't have the KPP that can take the game by the scruff and we lack serious mongrel, Manning is our only enforcer and I have noticed he has been out muscled/bodied by his opponents in both games.

It looks like Lourey and Keitel can't cope with the best 2 defenders week in week out, Rodda when forward attracted the best opposition defender which allowed one of the others to get off the leash but we do not have that luxury this year, they both need to lift or we will have a long season.

A great game of footy by all reports. With West Perth falling short by the eight points. Will be disappointing for them, but a happy drive home for Souths.
Apparently West Perth having 2 more scoring shots, and 2 less Inside 50 sorties.
The attendance is said to be 1637, which is disappointing. Given todays lovely weather conditions, three or four times more would have been a better target.

Yeh good game, was proud of the boys they got as close to beating Souths as they have ever done in the last couple of years, they will beat them one day..
Crowd was down but the early start was kind of stupid, and no reason for it..

Good effort by the boys, looked like they wanted to play today and considering the difference in personal between the sides we did very well. NOT THAT IM BLAMING THE UMPS but the non decision of dropping the ball to Shaw in the last qtr when he was running into an open goal was dumbfounding to say the least, the ball then spilled free and stacks on the mill occurred and the maggot gave it holding the ball to South 5m out ???
