I'd imagine the assistant would step into the role. The club would carry on as normal.

Drawing a long bow there “team full of professional AFL players” There were only 6 West Coast listed players that have played an AFL game playing against West Perth on Saturday. Of the 6, 5 average a total of 6 AFL games. Schofield was the only current AFL listed player out there that’s played more than a dozen games of AFL. Bottom line here is your club put in a terrible performance on the day against a side that lost by 20 goals the previous week.

Yes CV but all those WCE professionals spent the next week after the hiding from Subi recovering assisted by sports scientists and S&C people and doing nothing else but focus on footy whereas WP players went to work.
