This is an interesting game coming up, clearly the Ferals will be smarting from last week and we are no world beaters. Need I remind the WP faithful that this is a Perth Derby and any form line (albeit only 1 round) is out the window. With West Coast winning comfortably and no injuries sustained you would think a similar side will run out for EP, we have lost Mike Lourey which we could not afford but someone needs to step up.

WP by 23 for mine, we need this win as we have SF, $ubi and SD in the next few weeks.

Based on what I saw last week your boys should win Leedy but as you say, after Townsend's article during the week and negative feedback from all and sundry, they could come out and give you a shake....but to be perfectly honest, I don't think they've got the cattle. If WCE are relying on their ressies to get them back into the AFL top 8 then they've got a long wait based on who was running around last Friday....there's some very ordinary performers who don't seem to give a shit.

I would have thought West Perth to win by at least 30 points. They were consistent last week scoring 50% of their goals in both halves. I was under the impression he injury to Lourey would be a concern but noticed he's listed in the team this week at Centre Half Forward. Not sure if that being a misprint or he's made a quick recovery?
After last weeks good performance (although not saying atnything bad of Claremont) they should be 2 consecutive wins for The Falcons which will kick their season off in fine style. The weather forecast is looking like fine conditions. Partly cloudy with a maxima being in the mid 20's.

Sheezus, if Lourey is playing it would be a minor miracle, he had a cracked rib from all reports.

A cracked rib is just a flesh wound Leedy...Adam Creeper played in Subi's ressies premiership in 2017 after a punctured lung the week before. I know Brenden Fewster used to miss 3 weeks with a broken nail but jeez.

Didn't do my bets any good S. Got a shock upon returning home and checked the footy results! Sounds like West Perth couldn't get their hands on the footy very much?

West Perth were doing 47.1 Disposals per Goal yesterday. That is 19 more Disposals / goal than the previous week which is a huge difference. Their offence rating was much lower too at just a tick over 16%, compared to 24% the week prior. Playing at Home next week against Souths will be an interesting game.
