Bill said on radio this morning that Jones won't play unless there is a late withdrawal.

Well after driving down from Southern Cross for the game and spending the week at my daughters house in Balcatta it turned out to be a fairly worthless experience.

Walked into the ground behind the president (only to see him pretend he had no cash on him to buy a juniors raffle ticket) we were told we wouldn't be able to attend the presidents lunch. Heard two stories as to why we were not allowed in. One West Perth official said they had double booked and another said they did not want the country zone to be discussed on the day as the president had "more important" subjects to talk about.

So symbolic of the treatment given to the country zone and people by the club we spent the game on the outer at Joondalup. Pretty disappointed once again with how the bush is looked upon by the club but we did get to have a few drinks with friends from East Perths country zone at the outer bar.

Winger wrote: Why not play Jones, Kerr came back with one reserves game. We need his experience in the backline and as a inside midfielder. Good article in this mornings West where West Perth can make up to $100,000.00 windfall with hosting three games tomorrow. East Perth will make around $40,000.00. There is a breakdown of takings / expenses ETC in this mornings paper.

I would like to see him play Winger, that would free up Rodda to play in the forward line, he is dangerous down there and another big tall marking forward, we will see what Bill comes up with.

What a scumbag, buying a junior raffle ticket is compulsory as far as I'm concerned.

Falcon that is a massive risk to play Jones, with Johnno & Rassmussen out it should be the 1 of the 2 that got dropped in 2nd semi & razor to come in.

Should have got his greasy mate from that dodgy Caffi Logistics to loan him $1
He is usually trotting along behind him.
