Yep agree Singha... I listened to the interview again the question did not relate to the Drama with 7 and the WAFC. All the journo asked was re the slow start in the first qtr.
Seem like Bill was on a different wavelength.
My apologies to the journo. Bill must of been having a senior moment or other things on his mind when the question asked?
Strange reaction

But as they say on with the game :)

AFTER THE SIREN.. Interview with Bill

Published on 10 Sep 2015
Senior coach Bill Monaghan speaks after the teams 109 point thrashing of Peel Thunder in the Qualifying Final, and what is expected from the players in this weekend's Semi Final against top placed Subiaco.

With the Dockers and Eagles playing on Friday and Saturday we should get a good turnout at Medibank this Sunday..
Good value for money as you can get 2 Reserves games in and the league game. 2 of these games Featuring WP teams.

They set up a fake AFL style press conference after a game?

No JD the clip above is after the Peel game and before the Subi game this week. It is not a fake.
No point in after game coaches call as it is done on TV and we dont get TV at WPFC :)
We have to make our own.

Whoever does our Media at WP does a good job.

They have gone to the trouble of setting up a desk with a lectern, a club background and set up the camera to make it look like a Friday night AFL coaches press conference.

If only they went to the same kind of trouble visiting the country zone they may have had a few country players in their last league team and wouldn't be missing out on a young 194cm full forward that has been talking to other WAFL, VFL and SANFL teams.

Yes Parry is a real worry in what promises to be a very close game. While it's only statistics, WP have the best free kicks for record in the comp and we have the worst............ by the length of the Flemington straight.

Lets hope the umps will be invisible on what is the most anticipated game so far this year between two real WAFL clubs. No TV so hopefully that will add a few to the crowd, if it stays fine, could get 4000+ as this is the only venue hosting a WAFL league final.

Growler wrote: I wonder what magical figure the WAFC will pull from their bullshit box for attendees at the AFL reserves game in Mandurah ??
Any watching channel bully's telecast should get a rare picture of actual numbers

UMPIRING: It will be a treat to have actual non influential umpiring on Sunday - hasn't happened for the majority of the year so the betting would be against ...... Can't stand Parry tho, he's an ump that deludes himself into enjoying taking a players role in a game and turning the play.

I'll bet he has his own highlight tapes!

Spot on Growler, he likes to think he's bigger than the game sometimes, but there's no game without umpires but no Parry would make a better game!!

Hope your boys have a reasonably good game and only lose by 7 points :-)
