HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DVD:

1909 - The wonderful memories begin with Bill Kessell who played at West Perth from 1909.

1922 - Harold Boyd then talks about his Sandover Medal, the second one presented and the first for the West Perth Football Club.

1930's to 1950's - Some great finals footage from those years.

1931 - Interview with legendary goalkicker Ted Tyson.

1940's - Interview with Stan 'Pops' Heal, Premiership Coach and football legend.

1950's - Ray Schofield talks about his coaching and playing days.

1959 - Sandover Medal memories from big Brian Foley.

1969 - John Wynne was a Premiership player and Coach in the centenary year. There are highlights from the 1969 Grand Final.

1968 - Graham 'Polly' Farmer took us to two Premiership's and he talks about his days at West Perth.

1971 - Grand Final highlights.

1960 - Mel Whinnen talks about his Premiership years.

1985 - Centenary year interview with Captain Les Fong.

1975 - Grand Final highlights.

1960 - Bill Dempsey played in the Reserves Grand Final and he talks about his achievements over the years.

1975 - Coach Dennis Cometti interviews Graham Campbell immediately after the 1975 Premiership win.

1970's - 1980's - Replay highlights including one of Dennis Cometti's great years as Coach in 1982.

1980's - Duckworth brothers tribute.

1993 - Legends match curtain raiser to the final game at Leederville for the West Perth Football Club.

1995 - In Peter Hale’s second set of interviews in 1997 he talks to Paul Mifka along with 1995, 1999 and 2003 Grand Final highlights. Peter also talks with Sandover Medallist, Neil Mildenhall.

Cardy, this video is an extension of the 100 year tribute that Peter Hale created. He has extended from 1985. I would be very interested what the quality is like.

The 1985 video wasn't that good quality-wise, so I can't imagine it would be brilliant. He's been flogging this version on gumtree and ebay for weeks. At least if you buy through the club shop I can assume the club will get a few dollars out of it.

They were selling an East Perth one on ebay as well.they will be collectors items now since they folded up a couple of mths ago!

Yep agree guys but this Video will be a Historical moment as 2013 will certainly be the Last year of the WAFL as we know it. I suppose they could of called it the end of a era or Maybe the end of the WAFL. I can most probably watch it and just remember how good the WAFL was before the alignment.
Look forward to watching it whatever it may bring plus a donation to the club.

Have a lot of clips and we have the archives but sounds good to have it all on the 1 DVD. Will let you know how it goes. No copies though on this one..

No worries mate WPFC doesnt open the office until 14 Jan from memory so will order it then and get back to give a report.

Was hoping they had the interview with Bill Dempsey which was on a series called LEGENDS on Access when it was around. Keith Slater did the interviews. It was a brilliant interview as they all were.

Keith Slater was a great sportsman with his Cricket and Football. Not sure if Ron has done an interview or done a write up on him yet?

They really were great interviews. Quite a few of the interviewees have passed away since - Merv McIntosh, Jack Clarke, George Doig, Geoff Christian.
