Swans seem to not getting enough of the ball. In the opening match, 60 something less ball disposals. And yet only lost by a few points. In the 2nd match they have approx 80 less Ball disposals and going down by 8 pts. And in game 5 they have about 90 less Ball disposals. And last week saw 54 less Ball Disposals.
All of which means Swans currently have minus 295 Ball Disposals For - Ball Disposals against.
Which is not the best situation to be in.

Reckon recruiting a recent EF retiree might help with SD negative ball disposal count WAG...

And apparently one more might be walking away from East Fremantle?
Will be interesting to see what develops tomorrow.
Not sure if Swans are in talks with anyone currently.
Probably would do no harm to put the feelers out.

The negative disposal count and a negative tackle count in most games are indicative of one thing - the opposition want the ball more than Swans. Its all about mindset and attitude, recruiting players will do nothing to change things.

mikeh: your so right about teams needing to really 'want the ball' to win matches; it addition, is also very disconcerting to sit there and watch as the ball is kicked out into the open -- as happens quite bit on the bigger grounds in the WAFL -- and, from every direction, opposition players are leading to gain position of the ball. Do you know what I mean?

And I would add looking at the pitiful tackle count that we dont want it back bad enough Mike.

WAG, don't think either of Kim Schofield or Dion Anthony would add anything to SD list TBH...as for Jayden Schofield, as talented as he maybe
when on song, I think he would be of more use to SD canteen than SD playing group.

BH did Creasey play on Simpson?....bit of an under rated sort from all reports....good to see Simpson kick a few finally.....

Swans fans, you should be confident of a win this weekend. Hickey, Venables and Jetta are out of the Eagles team, plus they are playing away so will probably take at least one, maybe two, emergencies. The reserves team will be severely depleted, even more so than last week when EP beat them easily. Everyone expected exactly this: that the Eagles would really struggle if they have to play more than 6 or so top up players.

I can understand what you are saying Ted but after last weeks performance against EF I am not making any assumptions
