Scores in today's scratch match were. Swans 11 - 9 defeated Perth 8 - 7.
Swans goal kickers were : Cipro 3, Fullgrabe and Simpson 2 and 1 to Dean, Riley, Kohlmann and Farrant.

Both sides mainly made up of fringe players pushing for league spots. Could only pick 1 player from each side who were a regular first 18 starter last year. Noble for Swans and Bennell for Perth. Maybe there were more for Perth but do not know all their players.

My best players for Swans were Dean, Cipro, Fullgrabe, Daniels, Maguire and Simpson. Others may have a different opinion. Josh Simpsons first game for us was good with some clever ball movement by foot and hand.

An entertaining game for what it was and lets hope both teams can push for a top 5 spot this year.

Enjoyed the game in difficult conditions, prett good crowd for a scratchy and plenty to look forward to in 2019 seeing more young players get a crack at it
