Gemma Houghton is a Swans player as well.

Great effort by swans in both mens and womens.

I watched most of the second half of the Dockers aflw game on TV yesterday and while I've not been much of a fan, I must say the standard is much improved on the last 2 years which is to be expected, having all their players available and a good coach is really making a difference as Brisbane are the last 2 years grand finalists.

No doubt in my mind the coach has had a massive effect on the improvement of the Freo girls SS. Coops has had a wealth of experience coaching his own side and at decent levels of football too be it WAFL Colts & WAAFL and with success especially with the SD Colts side a few years back.
He also coached the WA girls youth sides in the last couple of years so would have a good idea about the young talent coming through in the state as well.
Could probably teach Lyon a thing or two about attacking coaching as well.
