From the Club:

Swan Districts Football Club has signed tall key defender Jesse Glass-McCasker to return to the club from three seasons with Carlton.

Glass-McCasker, now 21 years old, was selected by the AFL club as its first selection in the 2016 Rookie Draft. He attended Guildford Grammar and played his junior football with Bassendean JFC. Glass-McCasker left Swans when he was just 18 years of age after playing 17 games with the club’s Colts and representing WA in the National 18’s competition. He played the last three seasons in the VFL for Northern Blues.

Coach Adam Pickering is delighted to see Glass-McCasker back at the club. “His 195cm height and athleticism makes him a great pick up for us. We can see Jesse playing a key role for our club next year. This is further evidence of the club’s policy to develop from within.”

Glass-McCasker joins fellow Carlton team mate Rhys Palmer back at Swans.

Always happy to see our local boys returning. As long as we hold onto Mackenzie too in 2019, Jesse will be a handy pick up for our defence as a key position. Could release Notte to the forward line again.
