Palmer, Turner and Blakey standouts for me. Palmers kicking poor but adds a lot to mids. Heavy rotations and players played out of position.
Many new faces from last year, look to lack key forwards. Stewart didn’t play. Looks underdone and way behind rest of group.
Early doors but squad looks enthusiastic as players press for opportunities with new coach.

That knee problem Taryce suffered at the end of last season big setback for his prep along with excessive turtle diet. Hope he finds the drive to get fit and pursue his AFL dream again. Dead unlucky timing with his injury last year

We need him fit given lack of forwards. Fine young man, undoubtedly has the skill, desire being tested now. It is early but thought the squad looks to have more depth than last year. Will need some of the younger ones to step up.

Thanks for your thoughts Lancer and welcome to Ozfooty as well.
In relation to the key forward issue, with Doc Blakely seemingly on track for a comeback, do you think that this would free up Gault to spend more time up forward this year. Notte could be also an option to pinch hit at full forward but I suppose that would be robbing the defence. I assume Noble is still around? Although he is more of a leading forward I guess.

Thanks Mikeh. Noble is around, so will be interesting to see how they structure up. No doubt all will become clearer over the next few weeks.

I reckon that you will up there, Pickers and the playing group may take a few games to get it going but I see you in the 4 and not by a half a game but well in there!
