So can Swans make it 3-0 going into our first bye of the season? Long odds against that happening at the start of the season but a distinct possibility now. Some news from the Eagles selection table that will influence this match. Eric Mackenzie and Lewis Jetta have been dropped (I assume) but Barass and Giles have been picked for the AFL. Last time Jetta played against Swans he got over 30 possessions so his presence in this game will be dangerous.
For Swans I would assume Crowley will miss this game to give him 3 weeks to get over his hamstring strain. Bennell may be back depending on whether he has got over his soreness. Otherwise I can see a team pretty similar to last week
Like Souths in last weeks game I would say that East Perth will have a lot more possessions than Swans so it is up to our midfield and defence to put the same pressure on the man with the ball.
Then when we have the ball we need to make the most of our opportunities just like last week

Great to have pressure on spots in the team BH. Something that was definitely missing in 2016.

Just heard that Jetta is injured apparently. Hopefully not too serious.

The Black Ducks are going to get hold of them like a Rottweiler on a Raggedy Ann doll... Shake them about, drag them around the ground for a bit, then bury them.

Wins at Leederville have been pretty rare for Swans, only 3 victories in the past 10 games, all against Subiaco funny enough. The last time Swans beat East Perth at this ground was 2011.

Don't worry Mike. We saw the "Demons" beat the "Saints" after a long dry spell. Funnily enough, this will be a reversal of that contest.

This will be good conquering evil.

Actually since that win over East Perth in May 2011, Swans have only won 2 games against them (both at Bassendean) and East Perth have won around 12 in the same time period so we certainly owe them one.

Not feeling so confident about this one tomorrow fella...surely these eagle youngsters have a bit more about them than they've shown so far in 2017...we have a horrible recent record at Leedy v EP...hope we come out all guns blazing this week in our first game away from home this season...will tell us a lot about this playing group will this one.

Ps no matter what the weather report says bring an effen jacket to the game...historically known for freezing one's luggage so if you intend hanging out to watch the late colts match like I do come prepared...it will get arctic on ya

Play like last week there'll be 12 points in the Bank tomorrow night - pity Crowley is out he basically commands any on-field position & something always happens around him
Bennell should have a good idea what the opposition are about and if 23 can do that again this week it'll help lots given Crowley's 3 goals are gone
Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarn Blackbirds
