The official attendance figures are an absolute joke; they simply bare no relationship to reality. The attendances at WAFL games have been diabolical for most matches for the entire 2016 season. Only the deluded ones at the WAFC could possibly think that scheduling WAFL games at 12.10 pm on Sunday is a good idea.

42 you may want to question the smart guy why WAFL attendances are at all time lows this year even despite some "interesting numbers" supplied by certain clubs in games I attended as a neutral from the same certain venue?
Imagine if the "real figures" were actually forwarded how bad would the numbers really be!

TOSG I am uncertain how the official figures could be my fault. I do not collate nor publish the figures. Hoepfully, someone can post Percy J's interview from this morning and you might care to listen to his comments re the Showground's attendance figure. Then you might like to indicate whether you had assumed that I had meant that the figure was understated or overstated.

42 why is it despite all the talk on here of the "massive amount of $ubi supporters out there" that WAFL crowds are down 20% off last years dwindling low base even tho their side is equal top of the ladder going for their 3rd flag in a row, 24th finals finals series in the last 30 years, 15th GF & 9th flag in that same time period?
Doesn't make any sense to me if in fact they do have this supposed massive support out there!!

To be fair Swans have had a rotten run injury-wise , they haven't been able to keep a stable line-up week to week , and that's destructive

Hopefully as the season goes on a stronger side develops when they come back in

Mind you I read that Cary went back early & produced the goods which could be a good thing for a bit of versatility - and to help out Amesy & co

Southy Ames hasnt played for a couple of weeks now and isnt due back for about a month.
