Good to see Billy Walker getting an inaugural nod in today's online - fantastic Swans man

I see Toddy is in line & deservedly so - maybe even big Ronny Boucher too

Wonder if Maxy George will eventually get a gig in there

Max George was at the club last week having a beer, was a groundsman at a few local cricket clubs for a while.

sell-out function for the club, i'm sure it will be a great night.

Was fortunate enough to be able to say that I played against Max in the Ammos a few moons ago

He would have been in his late 40's and I think it was for Nollamara (could be wrong there so anyone correct who Max played for in the Ammos please)

He went alright too bagged 2 or 3 goals from half-forward that day

You werent too far off the mark Swan42. Jack Murray, Tom Moiler and Tim Barker were included from the pre 60's, while Eric Gorman, Simon Beasley, Peter Manning and Leon Baker missed out.

I was on the selection committee. The previous Life Members Legends were automatic inclusions, which meant there were only 8 spaces to fill. The next one is in 2 years time, when another 6 will be added.
