Now josh is gone, who will be our next captain ?

Do we go with one of the older players with a year or so left in them or might return bush or go east ( ie Ames, Ham's , Hilderbrant, Geappen ) or turn it over to one of the younger blokes ( ie Blight, Riggio, Lammie ) and let them grow with the team.

The blokes above are just off the top of my head. Not necessarily the ones too choose from , just examples.

Interested to read your thoughts. A good captain can make a hell of a difference to a team performance.

Ames was co-captain last year with Roberts so you would expect he would be the logical favourite to take the reigns for this season.

Things have changed a bit, new board, new president, retirements. new players.
Maybe the club might want a fresh start or blood someone else.

Dont get me wrong, i think Ames is a terrific player, bloke and Co- Captain. But strange things happen at footy clubs.

heaven forbid that someone might have a differing opinion,if so, can the the topic!! As stated above Amesy is awesome but he has to be really focused on his job at fullback and being a deputy suits that better. I'd vote for Twomey if he's still there and couple of youngsters in the leadership group with Ames to prepare for the future
