What a joke! After watching Swans give Subi a lesson, although only for three quarters, came home, beer and watch the news. WAFL gets a mention which was good however, boofhead Barich reports Swans belt Subi and Nikoski kicks three goals. What the!!!???!!! No mention of Geappen 31 possesions and kicks 6 goals or the fact Twomey also had 31 touches. Bloody nikoski spent more time calling for water boys than getting a kick and only got near the footy in the last 1/4 when all was lost. Channel 7 is pi55 weak and no longer will i watch these one sided biased pricks. if your going to report on the WAFL do it with at least some integrity.

Since when have they ever relayed player performances of non-AFL players? Sadly, the masses don't care.

yeh he kicked a few cheap goals in a dark day for Subi, he was more worried about chirping the crowd, bench and opposition. Wasn't really impressed with him

Did that useless fat pr!ck from Channel 7 also mention that 2 of Nicoski's goals were from weak as p!ss 50m penalties? I doubt it!

Welcome to the world of being treated as a feeder comp. to the AFL & not as a competition in it's own right. This is exactly the same way the VFL is treated Melbourne...spotlight is placed on AFL listed players, but little or no attention paid to non AFL players no matter how well they have performed. That is until one of these players is drafted as a mature age player then he gets some credit for his ability...previously unheralded. No doubt eventually the powers that be will have a brainstorm & create their own AFL reserves competition... by this time they will have totally destroyed the integrity of the likes of the WAFL/SANFL/VFL competitions. The AFL is the pinnacle all players ultimately desire to reach, however obviously not all attain this goal. This does not mean these players do not have great ability. The AFL must understand that to have a healthy development of football, competitions & clubs involved in the make up of those competitions need to be treated with respect, developed & promoted so that the standard within these structures is improved creating a natural progression for players with exceptional talent to progress through the ranks to the highest standard in the country. At present they seem too blinded by their own power, love of the TV dollar & hyperbole to listen to the people who ultimately support & contribute to the game! To Tim Geappen...well done today...great effort...to Mark Nicoski...good luck your Afl future.

V/f I don't know whetheryou can give some indication of how the VFL (formerly VFA) competition is going compared to previously as it is my understanding there are a number of AFL clubs wich have alignments similar to what we will face in 2014 and the impact this has had (positive or negative) to the VFL competition?

The other totally indefensible thing on the 7 sports news was they miss spelt east freo when showing the scores, shown as eats fremantle. No respect at all!!

That pissy excuse for a tv station has been bad for many years. But the ordinary masses couldn't give a toss. Even when they do show the wafl scores, if you were to blink or sneeze at the time of showing, you wouldn't see it. They are supposed to be reporting on the days sport but do a very poor effort. I can't understand every other sport being given video replays, results shown etcetera and the wafl receives 10 seconds. And mentioned for 15 seconds if you're lucky?
