This will be the 39th straight qualifying round victory if they do it AR. Don't mention it to BC though......

Mention it all you like Mike...I'm proud of my footy club and what they've achieved.

And Subiaco's average winning margin is currently 62 points for this season.

My thoughts exactly BC. When i was growing up people used to either laugh at you or feel sorry for you. Ive never forgotten and still enjoy every win. I dont take our current success for granted or feel i have to apologise for it. Carn the mighty Lions today and set a new club record !

Yep...agreed Jjim. When you read the story on Ben Sokol's 50th game which I posted earlier, it's interesting to see how he needed to lift another notch coming to Subi from South's. I would have thought South's would train and contribute to game day strategies similar to Subi but apparently not according to Sok's. It just goes to show how hard everyone at the club works to be successful...sure attracting some high quality players has had an impact but they're not much good if you don't put in the hard yards as well. Good on Subi for taking their game to the next level I say.

To paraphrase you though BC, these victories and the whole season will mean jack unless Subiaco win the flag in 5 weeks. This year I think you will be OK as Peel may not even make the finals

Absolutely spot on Mike. I'd rather lose a whole heap of games during the year and scrape into the finals and just win the flag than win every game and lose the only one that counts as we've done the last 2 years.

A good win today by a Perth that imo had a red hot crack. Subi had too class in the end but you couldn't fault Perth's effort. Best for mine was Deluca, Litherland, Zac Clarke, Sokol, Horse and young Jacob Miller. That's the unbeaten qualifying rounds all sorted, now for the real stuff. With next weekend's break hopefully we'll have the guys that missed today in Rhys Waters, Greg Clark, Ben Newton and Cockie all fit and firing.

Talk about an epic collapse , a month ago Perth looked the goods for a finals berth , and then pushed the self destruct button and reverted to the Perth of the past 30 years,,,incredible.
