From the scorecard it seemed like WP gave Subi a bit of a run for their money. 3rd Quarter is where they got the break. The two teams play again in round 19 apparently and also Souths will have an opportunity to have a crack at them in a couple of weeks, lets see if they can stop the juggernaut.

A good effort to get over joondy up there especially with the outs. Some young blokes really standing up which is heartening and gives us tremendous depth. FART next Friday night and after today's performance will probably see Ballantyne, Matera and a few others playing for Peel.

Seriously BC your comments about how disadvantaged Subiaco is with all their outs has less credibility than Pauline (flip flop) Hanson. Peel beat a team by 18 points that Subiaco beat by around 90 points in a canter.

great effort by Subi youngster in Borchet kicking 5 goals.....as much as Subi have some quality recruits, a lot of their youngsters are stepping up and playing their part too.......important to have depth within the ranks to cover any number of injuries.....should be a cracker next Friday v Peel.....

as you say BC after that Freo "effort" v Brisbane a few changes may be made by Ross the Boss.....reckon Peel would of been pissed not kicking straight in the last stanza v SD....3.7 keeps the winning margin to a respectable 18 pts....7.3 blows out that margin to the scoreline, RD so eloquently said, Peel apparently should of won by.......

Maybe if Peelmantle didnt play that ugly Fremantle style 18 men back inside their opponents forward half to make it a congested mess and actually play a more attractive WAFL style of football they might actually kick more than 10 goals a game too!
Having seen both sides firsthand over the last 2 weeks the worry wart BC can finally rest easy as I dont think Subi have much to be worried about to be honest as Peelmantle will be without Darcy (Sandilands), Brad Hill (Fyfe), Bennell (Ballantyne) and probably a couple of others as well and those 3 especially were the difference in our game on Saturday.

Ross the Boss should drop back to Peel after yesterdays performance and super coach Cam Shepherd could take the reigns at Freo

42...take Ben Newton, Brad Stevenson, Jordy Lockyer, Justin Joyce, Rhys Waters, Kyle Halligan out of any side and it's got to have an effect.

Dont kid yourself BC the heartbeat of your side is around Horsley, Phelan, Kitchen, DeLuca in the guts with Clarke & Delahunty feeding them from the stoppages. Those others you named are good players but you easily have the depth players to cover them.

Not sure I agree BH given Stevo and Waters are our 2 highest goal kickers and currently sitting 2 and 3 on the overall list...Newton an in and under mid who is just as important as the others given he's also a goal kicker...Lockyer, a state CHB and the key to our defensive set up.

Fantastic to see a Wafl match with a good attendance.
Apparently just a tick over 5,600 were at this match
