Ark if your referring to '84 then no I don't think we did underachieve, remember the disasterously low base the club was coming from and the youngsters that were just starting to come through that were the basis of the 4 GF's from 85 - 88, would explain the fall off at the end of the season and then to have a 2nd "take no prisoners" Bunton pre-season had then as one of the fittest teams in the league heading into 85.

I think the opposite. It was sill the poor old Subi days and by the end of the h&a season it was where the fark did they come from. The inaccurate loss to swans and the big win over souths in the last two games made a big statement of things to come. That's how I remember things anyhow
