This side would be competitive against most clubs, the possible exception being SF; a club, which, should be streets ahead of the rest.

Not a bad side AR especially considering Mark Zanotti couldnt make the final cut!

BH forgot Zanotti -- he has to go on one of the half-back flanks. I have been trying to strengthen the ruck position too, but alas most of our ruckmen have been Anglo Saxon, as you know. All the same, I think we could squeeze in big Vic Melville, which is an old French Norman name. One could also include Pat Rodriguez on the forward line. In addition, we could include Breman, a Dutch name. In fact, according to the 'forebears website' the highest concentration of the name Breman is in Holland, Germany and the US -- because of the high Dutch migration to the United States.

A few other names that come to mind from my days of following WAFL footy to throw in the mix AR- Tyson Stenglein, Matthew Teeuwissen, Aaron Zampogna, Graeme Schultz, Steven Rosich, Jonas Lindberg, Tich Lange, Chris Batka, David Antonowicz, Simeon Botsis & me ol mate Freeze's old favourite Glen Durnthaler!

BH agree 100 percent; I startted out just trying to get to twenty, than realised that we have had quite a few from the minorities groups over the years. In terms of the chaps you mentioned above -- I remember them all now that you list them -- and, for me Stenglein would make the team and Adam Lange would come very close, indeed.

It will be interesting to see if others add to this discussion by doing teams for their own clubs. I think I might be able to beat South given the additions we have made to the side. What do you think?

Yes it is a good side as is ours AR but gee that SF forward line would be hard to stop especially if Southy used his pulling power down at the Port and selected the Matera Brothers & Rioli boys!

yep they would more than a handful to say the least. Only Zanotti would have the pace to go with them at the back for Lions.

I heard Sri Lankan but definitely from that SE Asian region, shame he decided to stay over east, he was a gun for us before he was drafted 70+ goal player at his best.
