We would want to lift dramatically to have any chance here.

I don't think we should go the "total youth" direction this year. No need! Based on form, the younger players would hold their spots anyway and the middle-experienced 30-90 game players are the ones who should be under question.

How long can you wait for blokes to mature into consistent footballers? It some cases it just hasn't happened despite 30, 40, 50, 60 games or more.

Jeez, I reckon 20 games should be enough at this level nowdays.

Honourable exceptions for Abe Davey and Scott Worthington who stepped up last week.

To me the votes speak for themselves.

COLTS
Sad to see that star colts Cody Grace and Max Walters are out for the season. Big losses. See link www.subiacofc.com.au/club-news/1651-inju...-two-star-colts.html

State 18's rep Hayden Kennedy is also injured and Rhys McAlister did well up in the reserves last week and deserves to stay up. As does Michael Wood. Greg Clark is currently competing in the national 16's championships.

Still, that opens the door for other players to show what they can do and we do have some very talented players banging down the door for a game. It's all about opportunities and developing as many players as possible into league footballers.

What's happened to Dougs?
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Not sure but he'll be missed. Hopefully he's not out for long.

He was complaining about a twinge in his groin in the 3/4 time huddle last week.

Yeah not enough lines drawn I would have drawn a few more.

Like you guys I suffered through the Sharks game it was abysmall. Was "forced" to the bar very early to drown my pain!!

The way we've been going we are just as likely to win this one. We beat the premiers, run the no 2 team to within a point then play rubbish against Swans and EF??

The team doesnt look too bad on paper, McDougal is a big out. As good as Rumba is he's being caught out for pace too often, still great in contested marhing and the physical stuff but a fast leading forward will carve him up. If Stack decides he wants to have an impact not sure we have a match up, plus we must tag Bevan and that midfield bloke with the bun who absolutely carved us up last time. Subi need to get down & dirty and physical like we did against Claremont, ugly but effective, close checking and throttle their midfield if we are to have any chance.

The rediculous thing is, we win this and we are 1 game & % out of the four with 6 games to go??? Dreamin' I know.

Will be down south for a wedding, fortunately the games on Aunty.
