Shaping up as a great game with so much at stake.

It's possible that Sinclair will be back. Maybe even Grover. He looked in pretty good nick in his first game back in the reserves.

A plus also with a number of the young blokes - Le Fanu, Halligan, Clarke, Garcia, Norriss and Fetherstonhaugh all continuing to play good footy in the ressies - along with Genovese who is a fine clubman and a good player in his own right. Rhett Kerr also found some form in the ressies last week.

Will be interesting to see what tagging job Bogesnperger gets in the midfield this week. Might be a good match up for Tom Roach.

Forward line looking good now with Wood finding his range and maybe Sinclair up there this week as well.

Should be a fairly high pressure game with a lot at stake for both sides.

Can't see Swans playing that badly this time. That's the problem. This year, opposition sides never know what they'll get from Swans. If you blokes all fire up as against Perth then Subi could be in trouble. Then again if Subi can get enough of the ball to Wood, Wheeler, Sinclair etc, then the boot might be on the other foot. But Subi don't really have a match-up for Garlett with McDonald out injured.

It's an intriguing game on paper.

Yeah, I read that. Odd considering that old timers that I spoke to like Percy Johnson and Ted Wishart said it was one of the worst displays of football (both teams) seen up until half-time.

I guess Swans were getting the ball though. If that counts. Though, no good if you cough it up every few disposals. We were worse.

Mark Olsen, I'm not sure if you got passed on the information about what the coach said at quarter time or just didn't hear the full message. I was out there and heard him tell the team that it was the best they had defended all year and if they kept that up but took better care with the ball that they would get the rewards. This proved to be true when they had a great 2nd quarter. His 3 quarter time spray however obviously had little effect as they played terribly in that last quarter.
