So excited about the game, thought better get a thread started early.

A game we can realistically win with Swans struggling a bit as well.

Always enjoy going to Bassendean. Great place to watch footy. Good atmosphere.

Will be interesting to see what changes are made again.

Couldn't make the Perth game but watched the replay, but will be at Basso. Perth had around 100 more disposals and nearly 60 more marks, but we beat them in centre breaks? Indication that they were prepared to run harder and provide easy hand off options hence the huge number of handballs. Same number of scoring shots but our inaccuracy hurt us.

Expect Swans to pull out a big one as it's approaching season over for them if they lose, they and us will be 3 & 5. Dont need to make too many changes apart from looking at specific match ups. Cant let Woods match up Ames, he would carve the lad up, would run him out of a pocket or off a flank to free him up and run Joey Daye off a hff or wing, Clanger at CHF, McDougal and Madut rotating out of the pocket and through CHF to give Clanger an occassional run on the ball. Daye is wasted in the backline, not a backmans bootlace, has skill pace a racking left boot and can take a mark ... sounds like forward type to me.

The youngsters all deserve to hold their places, Rumba and Shuff both had good games against Perth. On form it should be a close thing but home ground may well get the Ducks over the line.

Did Rumba get booked for the bump on the Perth Guy? thought it was hard but fair, as much the perth player running into him and the replay showed Rumba had his feet planted, but contact was made to the head so who knows?

Ames was listed as having received a serious ankle injury. Hopefully it's not too bad but likely to miss this week

Good player Ames. In fact, Swans side on paper looks strong. Difficult to understand why they aren't higher on the table. Maybe most of the teams have improved and those that haven't are getting left behind?

Because we only put in for about 5 minutes a qtr & then rest on our laurels LH! And it is sh!tting me & many other Swans supporters how our level of intensity drops off so remarkably during games!

For some reason Swans seem to be playing a lot better away from home this year than they are at Bassendean. So Subiaco should have no fears about the game on Saturday. The only thing was that many of Swans prime movers had down days against East Perth and you would think that would not happen 2 weeks in a row

Looks like Darren Rumble has been cited on video evidence according to the reports from the weekend's games. Might possibly have a full back from each club missing depending on that result.

Should have Nicoski back though depending on whether the Eagles want him playing league or reserves. Joey Daye should make way and maybe try him up forward or on a wing in the ressies like other posters have suggested. Apart from Nicoski - Waters, McDonald, Le Fanu, Elliot, Halligan, Clarke, Fetherstonhaugh, Garcia and Norriss putting their hand up for a game. Perhaps even young colts full back Declan Jackson.

Will be an interesting week for selections again. How long is Sinclair out for?

Having lost both games to Swans in 2012, if Subi lose this week it will be the first time since 1990-91 that Subi have lost 3 consecutive games v Swans.

Yep Subi have certainly 'owned' Swans over the last 20 years or so. I would have been pleased with 1 consecutive win :silly:
