Interesting Elliott picked 6th best when the coaching staff picked him 2cd best,
played on Perths gun forward(who has been kicking 4/5 goals weekly) kept him to 4
touches and NO goals, didnt see all the game (busy a lot of that game) but wondered
how you come by your votes?

He played on Mark Deaves from memory. A know Mark's footy pretty well. He played at Subi colts for a while and that, I have no doubt, influenced my decision not to place Dylan as high in the votes as the coaches. But yeah, by all accounts and looking at his stats this year he has become a bit of a gun ressies player at Perth. I didn't actually know that before now.

Aside from that though, it's not meant to be the same as the coaches awards. Far from it. Although in the past one person claimed that I did indeed just copy the coaches votes - so similar are they most weeks.

Po.cocko, depending on how many people sit with me during the day, we just talk about our best players. Sometimes it's a lot of people, sometimes just a few. Sometimes nobody but me. It began about 15 years ago when We used to give away a weekly supporters award and basically just never stopped.

Dylan's doing fine mate. I know you're a big supporter of his. You should be happy with the way he's improving week by week.

As I said the coaches votes from the three games can be viewed after the match on the stats page but as you'll see they usually aren't much different unfortunately.

Myself and the others thought that Bill Fetherstonhaugh played a very good (And brave) game considering the hit he took during the match. Yet he didn't feature in the coaches awards at all. But that's ok. That's footy. It's not a biggie.

Yeah, the boys had a crack in the ressies. I thought they were going to do it but it wasn't to be. Perth have some good players coming through.
